£70,000 per annum + excellent benefits!

This RCVS-accredited, independently run practice with a fantastic reputation in the heart of Portsmouth is looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly team. Just 15-20 minute's walk from lakes and beaches, this practice is perfectly positioned for a great work-life balance.

Our equipment includes:

• Brand-new ultrasound machine

• Direct plate radiography

• K-laser for both acute and chronic case management

A full practice refurbishment to enhance facilities is currently in the works!

• Full-time: 39 hours/week, including 1 in 3 Saturday mornings (9am-12pm)

• Part-time: Ideally 3 days/week + 1 in 3 Saturday mornings

• No out-of-hours (OOH)

• 15-minute consults, with longer appointments for complex cases or new joiners

• Protected admin time, paid overtime, and a supportive team always happy to lend a second opinion

• Day off each week for full-time roles

• Salary up to £70,000

• £2,000 welcome bonus

• 28 day's holiday (rising to 33 days after 2 years)
