An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a truly independent small animal practice in the heart of Stroud. This well-established practice is proud of its strong local reputation, warm family feel, and unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and outstanding client communication. With deep roots in the community, the team takes genuine pride in providing compassionate, personalised veterinary care every day.

The practice is exceptionally well equipped, having invested heavily in modern facilities and technology. Clinicians benefit from access to digital DR x-ray, dental CR x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, ECG, IDEXX haematology and biochemistry analysers, a comprehensive orthopaedic surgical kit, and much more. This level of equipment allows the team to manage a broad and interesting caseload in-house, supporting high clinical standards across both medicine and surgery.

With over 80 years of combined veterinary experience, the team brings a wealth of knowledge, skill and practical expertise to the practice. Ongoing training and professional development are actively encouraged, enabling the delivery of a wide range of advanced medical and surgical services. The successful Veterinary Surgeon will be confident working independently, enjoy clinical autonomy, and play a key role in supporting and mentoring recent graduates.
