Veterinary Surgeon - Independent Practice

Are you a passionate veterinary surgeon looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of pets and their owners? An exciting role awaits in North West London, where an independently owned and managed veterinary practice is seeking a dedicated professional to join their compassionate team.

Work Environment

This role offers the chance to work in a well equipped environment, featuring two small animal clinics in North West London. The practice is outfitted with state of the art digital X ray, ultrasound, dental X ray, and an in house laboratory, ensuring that you have all the tools necessary to provide top notch care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 15 minute consultations from 9 11 am and 4 7 pm, and perform routine surgical procedures such as neutering and dentals from 11:30 am 2 pm.
• Participate in the Saturday rota.
• Support the practice's goal of performing most procedures in house, with referral to an ortopaedic specialist for more complex cases.

Team & Training

You will be joining a skilled team that includes an experienced RVN, a 2024 graduate RVN, a dedicated veterinary receptionist, and an ANA. As a training centre, the practice is committed to fostering professional growth and development.

Flexible Working & CPD

Flexible working arrangements are available, with both full time and part time positions open for discussion. A CPD allowance will be tailored to your needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 12 months of veterinary surgeon experience.
• Must be a qualified Veterinary Surgeon and eligible to register with the RCVS.
