A long-established small animal practice in Blackpool is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join its friendly, professional, and supportive team.
Established in the 1970s, the practice has built a strong reputation for delivering the highest standards of veterinary care, surgery, and treatment - from routine check-ups to complex procedures. The team is proud to combine decades of experience with a genuine passion for animal welfare.
This is a full-time position offering approximately 40 hours per week, including 1 in 4 Saturday mornings. The role offers a competitive salary of up to £60,000 FTE, depending on experience, along with an excellent benefits package.
The RoleThe successful candidate will:
- Be a qualified and experienced Veterinary Surgeon, ideally with 2-5 years of clinical experience
- Demonstrate strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-focused approach
- Show enthusiasm, initiative, and a willingness to contribute to a collaborative team culture
- Conduct consultations, diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions in companion animals
- Provide high-quality surgical and medical care while supporting continuous improvement within the practice
- Work closely with a dedicated team to achieve the best outcomes for patients and clients
- Play an active role in developing and implementing new services that enhance the practice's offerings
