Vehicle Technician

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable franchise-approved car dealership in the South Bristol/Brislington area, seeking a fully qualified Vehicle Technician to join their busy Service Department. The successful Vehicle Technician will play a vital role in maintaining the dealership's high standards of vehicle servicing, fault diagnosis, and repairs.

As a Vehicle Technician, your primary responsibilities will include diagnosing faults, conducting servicing and repairs in line with manufacturer standards, and ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to the highest quality. You will be reporting to the Service Manager, providing accurate diagnoses, reporting vehicle conditions, and adhering to all quality procedures relevant to both our client and the vehicle manufacturer.

The ideal Vehicle Technician will live within a reasonable commuting distance of North Bristol and possess at least an IMI/NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair. A valid UK driving licence with minimal points is essential. An active MOT licence would be highly advantageous but is not a requirement, as full training is provided. Vehicle Technicians must demonstrate a strong work ethic, the ability to produce high-quality work in a fast-paced environment, and a team-oriented approach. Requirements

• Full qualification as a Vehicle Technician, e.g., IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Proven experience in vehicle diagnostics and repairs within a franchise dealership environment.
• Valid UK driving licence with minimal points.
• MOT qualification is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining high standards.
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
