Overview
We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be adept at using both hand and power tools to diagnose and repair a variety of vehicles. This role is essential in ensuring the safety and performance of our customers' vehicles, contributing to their overall satisfaction and trust in our services.

Duties

Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify issues and recommend necessary repairs.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, brake repairs, and tyre rotations.
Utilise diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot vehicle problems accurately.
Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools and power tools as required.
Maintain detailed records of all work performed on vehicles for compliance and customer reference.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
Adhere to health and safety regulations while working in the workshop environment.

Qualifications

Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in vehicle maintenance and repair.
Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to automotive work.
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and colleagues alike.
