VAT Manager (Group Tax) - Energy

• Lead UK VAT compliance and oversee overseas VAT via external advisors
• Support corporation tax compliance and reporting
• Maintain transfer pricing policies and manage tax audits
• Partner with Finance, Investment, and People teams on tax matters
• Contribute to M&A and group tax planning projects

A rapidly growing international renewable energy business is seeking aGroup Tax Manager to join its Finance team. This role covers UK and international tax compliance, VAT, and advisory work, with the opportunity to get involved in M&A and wider group planning.

Skills/experience required:

• Professionally qualified (CTA, ACA, ACCA, ICAS, or equivalent)
• Strong UK tax technical knowledge, especially VAT
• Experience across compliance and advisory/transactional work
• Clear communicator, able to work with non-tax specialists
• In-house or practice background; renewable energy/infrastructure experience a plus
