Profile

Our client is a well established HVAC / Clean air company, carrying out the full range of validation works across a mixed range of sites across the UK. They are looking to take on a hardworking and experienced Validation Engineer based in and around the Slough area. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working within the HVAC/Validation industry, carrying out validation and verification of ventilation systems in line with HTM 0301 Regulations.

Experience & Qualifications
  • Extensive experience as a validation engineer within the HVAC / Clean air industry.
  • Hold P601 and relevant East Wood Park training.
  • Proven track record of carrying out validation and verifying ventilation systems in line with HTM 0301 regulations.
  • Experience testing LEVs, fume cupboards and laminar airflow cabinets (ideal).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Role Responsibilities
  • Undertake airflow and pressure measurements, microbiological air sampling, noise and environmental measurements, auditing of Air Handling Units (AHUs) and re-balancing airflows.
  • Carry out DOP and HEPA testing.
  • Test critical ventilation systems within the healthcare sector; validate and verify the systems.
  • Maintain instruments & equipment, including arranging repairs and recalibrations when necessary.
  • Use information on site to produce detailed reports for clients.
  • Provide support and training to site engineers.
  • Build and maintain good working relationships with clients.
