Validation Engineer - Leeds

Our client is a professional and respected clean air company providing a wide range of validation and LEV services to a national client base. They are recruiting for a Validation Engineer based in and around Leeds. The ideal candidate will have experience carrying out clean room validations in accordance with HTM 0301 and will ideally hold the BOHS P601 exam and relevant Eastwood Park training. Previous experience testing LEV systems and fume cupboards is advantageous but not essential. Applications from the Wakefield, Dewsbury, Bradford and surrounding areas will be given preference.
Responsibilities- Test critical ventilation systems within the healthcare sector and validate them in line with industry regulations.
- Carry out airflow and pressure measurements, microbiological air sampling, noise and environmental measurements, and audit Air Handling Units (AHUs) including airflow re balancing.
- Perform DOP and HEPA testing.
- Produce technical reports and consult with clients on findings and recommendations.
- Maintain instruments and equipment, arrange repairs and recalibrations as necessary.
- Provide support and training to site engineers.
- Experience as a validation engineer in the critical ventilation/healthcare sector.
- Familiarity with testing LEV, fume cupboards and laminar flow cabinets (desirable).
- Holding the BOHS P601 exam and relevant Eastwood Park training.
- Proven track record of validating and verifying ventilation systems in accordance with HTM 03-01.
- Strong knowledge of compliance, health & safety guidelines and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent time management and workload prioritisation skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
