Validation Engineer - Aylesbury

Job Description

Our established client is known for delivering a range of high quality validation and LEV services to a national client base. They are currently recruiting for a Validation Engineer based in and around the Aylesbury area. The ideal candidate will be experienced in carrying out clean room validations in accordance with HTM guidelines and will ideally hold the BOHS P601 and relevant Eastwood Park training. Previous experience carrying out tests on LEV systems and fume cupboards will also be advantageous but not essential. Consideration will be given to applications from Bedford, Huntingdon, Watford and surrounding areas.

Experience for the Role

• Experience working as a validation engineer within the critical ventilation / healthcare sector.
• Experience testing LEV systems, fume cupboards, and laminar flow cabinets.
• Hold the P601 certification and relevant Eastwood Park training.
• Experience undertaking a wide range of critical ventilation testing.
• Proven track record of validating and verifying ventilation systems in accordance with HTM regulations.
• Understanding of compliance and health & safety guidelines.
• Ability to manage own time and workload.
• Confidence in building and maintaining client relationships.
• Strong communication skills.

Duties within the Role

• Test critical ventilation systems within the healthcare sector; validate and verify systems in accordance with relevant industry regulations.
• Carry out airflow and pressure measurements, microbiological air sampling, noise and environmental measurements, audit of Air Handling Units (AHUs) and re balancing airflows.
• Perform DOP and HEPA testing.
• Write reports and consult with clients on findings and recommendations.
• Maintain instruments & equipment, arrange repairs and recalibrations when necessary.
• Provide support and training to site engineers.
