Vacancy - Test Piece Manufacturing Technician

Abbey Forged Products is the UK's leading forge master in the oil & gas industry, and have recently acquired accreditations for the Nuclear and Aerospace industries. With 40 years' experience in forging, Abbey are specialists in creating bespoke products using open die methods.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our Test House department as a Test Piece Manufacturing Technician. The ideal candidate will be able to prepare test pieces in relation to relevant documentation or willing to train. They will be competent in the operation of band saws, linishers, grinding machines, manual machines and CNC machines or willing to learn.

All work must be carried out in compliance with Health and Safety requirements and to ISO 17025 standards.

This is a permanent post working morning and afternoon shifts.
