Position Summary
Why join our team?As an in house UX team in Samsung Electronics, we are working on future innovation, and setting the strategic direction for key areas of Samsung UX. As a team, we carry a lot of influence for the future UX vison across the different product categories, and we focused on being at the forefront of UX innovation.
This is an excellent opportunity for a creative open-minded designer as we are often exploring emerging and groundbreaking areas that can offer Samsung unique opportunities to be at the forefront of UX. Our work runs from understanding user needs, to emerging trends in tech and experiences, to then developing UX concepts for sophisticated line-up and roadmap strategies.
As a team, we are constantly evolving in process and output so the team and role is most suited to a designer who loves challenge and progression, and we are always looking at how members evolve and progress in their career journey. We are very collaborative and assigned project members work from start to end of a project and so get the breadth and depth of work.
Role and Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities
A creative visual expert within innovative visual language, with the skills to support development within future proofed visuals including new product types such as spatial interface, generative design, Ai process/interaction and future hyper personal experience. A technically advanced visual designers who has the skill and knowledge to create future proofed visual concepts.
Visual language trends to understand future opportunities for UX, going beyond the current.
Strategic visual language roadmaps demonstrating future based direction
Create enhancement to current UX through emotional experience design
Develop visual identity assets which are refined and cover a breath of application areas
Motion design which complements the aesthetic design for holistic output
Have a good knowledge of future technology to apply future visual language
Development of refined visual design that is premium in output.
What we need for this role
To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:
Hands-on experiences in a design context with sound knowledge of UX design strategy process and digital branding.
Strong skills in the following softwares: Figma, Aftereffects, Adobe
Experience within working for luxury and premium brands within visual identity.
Knowledgeable within visual trends and emerging technology.
Experience of working with/within large corporations or design consultancies.
Have a flexible and innovative approach, challenge the status quo.
Desire to work in a fast paced and evolving environment coupled with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
Proven experience in planning, managing, moderating and leading visual UX projects.
Be a team player, building trust and cohesion within the team.

Through fresh and unique visual approaches to advanced design show enhanced emotional experience
Within deliverables show a clear understanding of the needs and direction for our UX.
Deliver high-fidelity visual and motion design that demonstrate future visual opportunities and strategies for the business that are rich in logic.
Introduce new trends, which showcase a vision and a direction for key areas of our UX
Showcase utilisation of emerging tools and programmes to offer new capabilities within visual design & motion within creation and presentation output.
Initiate and plan projects strategically, from inception to completion
Deliver actionable, clear and intelligent outcomes. Must pay attention to detail, yet be able to see the big picture and maximize work effort.
