User Researcher - SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED
Location: Portsmouth (3-4 days on site/week)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 6 months
Clearance: SC required
Rate: Up to £440/day (Outside IR35)
Project: Enterprise Portfolio
We're assembling a new team and we're on the lookout for a proactive, self-starting User Researcher to join the mission. This is a high-impact opportunity to work on a project that is shaping the future of their enterprise capabilities. You'll be part of a close-knit trio, working hand-in-hand with a Business Analyst and an Interaction Designer to uncover, define, and support evolving user needs across stakeholders - many of whom have limited time and access.

- Building strong relationships across a wide and varied user base.
- Translating research insights into actionable recommendations to guide design and delivery.
- Ensuring alignment with Defence Digital and broader data strategies.
- User Researcher with a solid track record.
- Highly proactive with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable navigating complexity and ambiguity in a secure setting.
- Experience working within MOD or with the Royal Navy.
- Familiarity with Defence procurement and operational landscapes.
