PA / Nanny

• Hourly Rate: £13.85 to £16.00

We are seeking a dedicated PA/Nanny to join a family in the TA postcode area on a permanent basis. This role offers a supportive environment where you will assist a disabled parent and provide structured, nurturing care to two children. The position requires a calm, patient approach and the ability to work collaboratively with the family to maintain a low-demand, secure environment for the children.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Support after school routines, evening transitions, and bedtime using calm, predictable, and consistent regulation strategies.
• Provide sensory-aware, engaging play and structured activities.
• Work collaboratively with parents, school, and therapists to maintain shared approaches.
• Transport children to clubs and activities using a car provided by the family.
• Prepare simple, family-friendly meals and handle light household duties such as laundry and basic cleaning.
• Assist with shopping, appointments, day trips, and errands.
• Support the parent during gym sessions and swimming by shadowing.
• Manage occasional dog care.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Full UK Driving Licence (car provided)
• Experience with SEN, neurodiversity, or behaviour that challenges is essential.
• Emotionally resilient, patient, and calm under pressure.
• Confident in supporting dysregulation, sensory needs, and high-energy children.
• Able to provide structure, predictability, and gentle boundaries.
• Practical, solution-focused, and professional in approach.
• Experience in childcare, SEN, social care, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience with ASD or ADHD is beneficial but not essential.
• Willing to learn and follow consistent strategies used at home and school.
