Urgent Hiring! Disability Assessor - Lewes

Monday to Friday 9 am - 5 pm. No weekends.

Full-time: PIP and WCA; Part-time: WCA only.

Salary

• PIP Assessor (3 assessments per day): £47,000 + 5 % salary bonus when training is passed, up to 10 % performance bonus per year.
• WCA Assessor (5-6 shorter assessments per day): £50,000 + 5 % salary bonus when training is passed, up to 10 % performance bonus per year.

Hours

• Full-time (WCA/PIP): Monday-Friday, 9 am-5 pm.
• Part-time (WCA only): 0.6 FTE (3 days) or 0.8 FTE (4 days). PT must work Friday and can choose the remaining days.

What You'll Do

• Conduct structured assessments (telephone and face to face).
• Review medical evidence and daily living impact.
• Produce detailed reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
• Make objective recommendations based on evidence.
• This is an assessment focused role - no prescribing, no treatment plans, no shift pressures.

Training

12 week paid training covering assessment techniques, DWP guidelines, and report writing. You will receive full support before working independently.

Who We're Looking For

• Registered Adult Nurses (NMC).
• Occupational Therapists (HCPC).
• Physiotherapists (HCPC).
• Paramedics (HCPC) - PIP only.
• Pharmacists (GPhC) - PIP only.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year post registration experience in an adult setting.
• At least 1 year active registration.
• Strong communication and report writing skills.
• Confident IT and typing skills.
• Sponsorship not available.
