Job Description

At Scotch Orchard Primary School, we pride ourselves on providing a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child can thrive. Our dedicated staff work collaboratively to inspire a love of learning, develop curiosity, and ensure every pupil reaches their full potential.

We are seeking to appoint an Unqualified Teacher to play an important part in both teaching and whole-school development.

FTC until 31/8/27 due to External Funding

Start - As soon as possible

Key responsibilities include:

  • Plan and deliver lessons in line with school curriculum and schemes of work.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on pupils' progress and achievements.
  • Support pupils' preparation for external examinations.
  • Lead Wider Horizons Programme, PE, and Outdoor Education.
  • Contribute to school policies, curriculum development, and whole-school initiatives.
  • Act as Educational Visits Coordinator, ensuring safe and enriching learning experiences beyond the classroom.
