Unique Equine Vet Opportunity to work OOHs in a diverse Equine Practice

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Equine Veterinary Surgeon to join a renowned clinic in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. The clinic is seeking a dedicated professional to support their existing team in the out-of-hours rota.
The Role:
- The successful candidate will take on approximately 50% of the first call-out of hours rota, dovetailing with the other out-of-hours Vet, in a week-on / week-off arrangement.
- This role is mainly ambulatory, but the successful candidate will have access to the clinic's state-of-the-art facilities, including stabling, a surgical suite, a clinic room with stocks, DR, ultrasound, videoscopes, etc.
- The clinic's tech-savvy Practice Manager has streamlined a variety of administrative tasks, including bookings, on-call rota, holiday requests, and remote access to the PMS, through a series of bespoke phone apps.

Hours:
- Monday to Thursday 4.30 pm to 8.30 am, Friday 4.30 pm to Monday 8.30 am, and Bank Holidays
- Week on week off out-of-hours work

The team consists of highly experienced veterinary surgeons and nurses, each with their own area of expertise. The clinic operates 24/7, ensuring around-the-clock care for patients.
