Job Description
About the Role
As Underwriting Support, you will play a critical role in supporting the Underwriting team with a wide range of administrative and policy-related tasks.
You will be responsible for issuing insurance documentation, maintaining client files, and streamlining operational processes to ensure excellent service delivery.
You will report directly to the Head of Underwriting Operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Issue insurance policies, invoices, and insurance certificates with a high level of accuracy.
- Monitor and manage the life cycle of insurance policies, including renewals and expirations.
- Maintain and update client files and policy records in line with compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to ensure smooth policy administration and client satisfaction.
- Contribute to ongoing process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives.
About You
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a support or policy administration role, preferably in maritime or commercial insurance.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written); proficiency in Dutch is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree (BSc.); Wft-Schade Zakelijk certification is considered a strong advantage.
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Team-oriented, proactive, and driven to contribute to a collaborative and agile work environment.
