Our UK Student Recruitment Officers are based within the Future Students Office and lead on the recruitment of UK students nationwide. This role encompasses home student recruitment, alongside developing, managing and implementing strategies to realise our commitment to widening access in higher education alongside a varied workload on UK Student Recruitment Projects.

You'll have the chance to showcase our university nationwide and on campus. From large scale exhibitions to visiting schools delivering inspiring talks and workshops, you'll proudly represent the university, spreading the word about what makes the University of Leicester unique. Your role will also include setting and exceeding recruitment targets, all while aligning with our institutional objectives and Access and Participation Target.

About you

In this position, you'll need to be a great communicator, adept at building relationships and delivering information effectively and in an engaging manner. Coupled with a relevant degree, you should have prior experience in 13-19 education, further education, or higher education environments, delivering multi-day sessions in schools and colleges across a large geographical area. The post holder will also be required to reside in Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire or surrounding areas. Excelling in this role requires more than just conventional skills - you'll need to demonstrate innovative thinking, proposing creative solutions, analysing data, and crafting comprehensive reports, correspondence, and other documents.
