The Digital, Technology & Communications ("DT&C") team within Citi's UK Commercial Bank ("CCB") is a fast growth, dynamic business with a vision to significantly scale up over the next five years and beyond. It provides coverage of internationally focused, mid market DT&C companies and disruptors. The sector includes clients in software, ecommerce, connectivity, media & entertainment and communications. We offer our clients the convenience of a global banking network, thought leadership and a broad suite of financial capabilities.
Responsibilities- Build relationships with client network and operational teams, becoming a key contact for internal requests/problem escalation and resolution
- Provide day-to-day banking support to the bankers
- Act as primary point of contact for onboarding, work on customer due diligence / KYC for new to bank clients (as well as existing client base) and handle documentation related to client on boarding
- Lead global account opening and closing process - liaise with regional colleagues, internal department and obtain necessary approvals, deferrals, send notification to customer, etc
- Engage with product partners and Citi's global network to identify revenue opportunities and to position certain products with clients
- Support implementation process and help clients access Citi's global network, locating local coverage and product support across the globe
- Coordinate credit requests and approvals from Citi's global network
- Become familiar with Citi's credit policies and processes, ensure credit documentation is kept current and monitor usage of credit lines
- Foster a positive attitude amongst colleagues, clients and prospects
- Further develop banking and DT&C sector knowledge and share industry discovery with colleagues and clients
- Distribute Citi's client insight and banking event invitations to clients and prospects
- Apply good judgment, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets in compliance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, and Citi Policy
- Apply sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and elevate issues with transparency
- Relevant experience helpful
- Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience
