The company employs over 2,000 technologists, data scientists, and experts to develop, test, and validate solutions in line with RELX Responsible AI Principles.About the RoleAs Analytical Editorial Operations Manager, you will lead UK-based editorial teams delivering authoritative analytical content across legal and tax portfolios. You will drive operational excellence while embedding AI into editorial workflows to improve quality, scale, and efficiency. This role combines people leadership, data driven decision making, and cross functional collaboration in a fast moving environment.Responsibilities:Lead a team of UK-based editors delivering analytical content for Legal and Tax Markets portfolios, including Halsbury's Laws of England and the Stair Memorial Encyclopaedia of the Laws of ScotlandEmbed AI as a core component of editorial workflows, guiding effective use of LLMs and AI enabled tools and applying editorial judgment to validate and refine outputsSet, own, and communicate performance KPIs; manage dashboards, production schedules, and productivity goalsEnsure content meets quality, timeliness, and completeness standards, taking action where performance is at riskBuild cross training and operational flexibility across UK analytical editorial functionsCoach, develop, and evaluate team members, fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvementPartner with commercial stakeholders and global operations and technology teams to align delivery with customer and business prioritiesRequirements:Extensive experience leading and developing people in a complex operational environmentProven experience deploying AI in content or knowledge workflows and translating use cases into scalable operating modelsStrong analytical and commercial acumen, with experience using data to drive decisionsExcellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skillsDemonstrated experience leading teams through organisational changeStrong organisational, process design, and project planning capabilitiesProficiency with Microsoft Office tools and project management platformsExperience in publishing or content driven environmentsWork in a Way That Works for YouWe promote a healthy work/life balance across the organisation.
