Job Description
Tunnel Engineer

We are seeking a Tunnel Engineer to support tunnelling works and the design of specialized saturation diving equipment for infrastructure and underground projects.

The role involves coordinating tunnelling activities using Tunnel Boring Machines (TBM) and supporting the structural and factory design of saturation diving systems, in accordance with project requirements, safety regulations, and applicable engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support tunnelling works involving Tunnel Boring Machines (TBM), including coordination with site teams and contractors.
  • Assist in the structural design and factory layout design of saturation diving equipment, including gas piping systems, water piping systems, and power cable routing and layouts.
  • Review engineering drawings, technical submissions, and method statements related to tunnelling and saturation diving systems.
  • Ensure that designs and site works comply with project specifications, workplace safety regulations, and relevant engineering standards.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including civil, mechanical, electrical, and safety personnel.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
  • At least one (1) year of relevant experience in tunnelling works involving Tunnel Boring Machines (TBM).
  • Experience or exposure to structural and factory design of saturation diving equipment, including gas piping, water piping, and power cable layouts.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and review engineering drawings and technical documentation.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
