Job Description
  • Develop and implement a trusts and foundations fundraising strategy to meet income targets.
  • Research and identify potential funding opportunities aligned with organisational objectives.
  • Write compelling funding applications and proposals tailored to specific trusts and foundations.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing funders through regular updates and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with funding agreements and prepare detailed impact reports.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather information and evidence for funding submissions.
  • Track and monitor fundraising activity using appropriate systems and tools.
  • Represent the organisation at meetings and events to build funder relationships.
The Successful Applicant

A successful Trusts and Foundations Manager should have:

  • Proven experience in trusts and foundations fundraising within the not-for-profit industry.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive proposals.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills to identify funding opportunities.
  • Knowledge of funding cycles and reporting requirements.Ability to build and maintain relationships with funders and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using fundraising databases and tracking systems.
