Trust Doctor in Frailty and Acute Medicine

We are currently looking to appoint an experienced Trust Doctor in Acute Medicine and Frailty to cover a 6 month gap within our deanery rotation programme, available now, until October 2026.
These posts are not recognised UK training posts; however, the post-holders will have a named supervisor and will be supported in undertaking scheduled educational opportunities within the Trust and clinical specialties.
Main duties of the jobSupport specialty teams in Acute Medicine and Acute Frailty in the management of their inpatient and outpatient workload, and participate in out of hours cover on the registrar rota. The specific rotation preferences will be discussed with candidates at interview.
Qualifications- Full GMC Registration with a license to practice
- MBBS or equivalent
- MRCP Part 1 and Part 2
- Demonstrable experience working at registrar level in general medicine and geriatrics.
- Evidence of continuing professional development.
- Evidence of team working skills.
- Evidence of excellent communication skills.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and requires a Disclosure and Barring Service check to look for any previous criminal convictions.
£65,048 a year, plus enhancements.
