Job Description

Reporting to the General Manager, the Truss & Posi Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations on the production floor, ensuring efficient production processes, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety. This position plays a key role in coordinating with various departments to meet production goals and supports the team in achieving operational excellence in the manufacturing of roof trusses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the day-to-day activities of the production floor to ensure operations align with scheduled timelines and quality standards.
  • Monitor production metrics and implement necessary process improvements for increased efficiency and reduced downtime.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager and other departments for production planning and resource allocation.
  • Enforce safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe and compliant working environment.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop production staff, providing training and performance evaluations.
  • Address any operational issues promptly to minimize disruptions in the production process.
  • Coordinate maintenance and repair activities to ensure all equipment is operational.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision making abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, preferably in roof truss production.
  • Ability to analyse production data to drive performance improvements.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards within the manufacturing industry.
Truss & Posi Production Supervisor
  • Proven experience (3-5 years) in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in roof truss manufacturing or related field is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and practices.
