Tribe Test Engineer/Brussels/600 Euros per day

Long term freelance opportunity for a Tribe Test Engineer to join a leading client based in Anderlecht.

Experienced Test Engineer, based in Belgium required to define, co-create, drive, and embed the test strategy.

50% remote working.

Rate: 600 Euros per day.

The Role:

• Collaborate with different squads to assess their current testing practices, tools, and workflows.
• Define and implement a customized test roadmap for each squad, focusing on best practices and continuous improvement to achieve the test strategy of the Tribe.
• Provide support to squads in the adoption and integration of test practices and test automation.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate teams on testing methodologies.
• Monitor and review the progress of each squad's test journey, providing guidance and adjustments as needed.
• This all in a good collaboration with the (Agile and Devops) coaches inside the organisation

Technical requirement:

• Knowledge of banking/insurance sector is an asset
• Experience in implementation of test strategy, test automation
• Thorough experience working in or with Agile development teams
• Hands-on experience with Octane, Java programming Git version control Cucumber with Junit Selenium WebDriver Page Object Model Test automation best practices, others.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coach and mentor teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

• Testing tools: unit testing, test automation, service virtualization, performance testing, test management
• Feature quality owner of cross squad/Tribe initiatives, where you will setup the test approach and follow up the status. Align with all involved parties and do a proper reporting.
