Based at CSG's Aylesford Aqueous Waste Treatment Plant near Maidstone, you'll play a key role in supporting the safe, compliant and efficient operation of the site. From coordinating waste bookings and operating the weighbridge to maintaining compliance records and supporting the management team, you'll be at the centre of the site's administrative activities. We're looking for someone who is organised, detail-focused and confident working with customers, colleagues and business systems in a busy operational environment.

Salary:

£25,000 per annum, plus overtime

Role Accountabilities:
  • Provide administrative and organisational support for all site operations.
  • Coordinate incoming and outbound calls from customers and colleagues.
  • Assist in the organisation of tasks and efficient site working.
  • Support compliance with the Group's Health and Safety policies and behaviours.
  • Coordinate bookings for incoming waste and maintain the booking-in system.
  • Operate the weighbridge for incoming and outgoing loads and complete associated documentation.
  • Raise and maintain business paperwork including worksheets, consignment notes and accident forms.
  • Monitor and update site administration systems, including skills matrices, risk assessments and maintenance schedules.
  • Ensure all invoices are coded, authorised and submitted for payment promptly.
  • Support month-end reporting and expense reconciliation processes.
  • Take ownership of customer queries and ensure timely resolution.
  • Provide administrative support for projects and other ad hoc tasks as required.
The Candidate:
  • GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
  • Previous administration experience, ideally within waste management, environmental services, logistics, industrial operations or another busy operational environment.
  • Strong IT skills with experience using Microsoft Office packages, including Word and Excel.
  • Accurate data entry and record management skills with high attention to detail.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with colleagues, managers and customers.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible, proactive and cooperative approach to work.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle information appropriately.
  • Enthusiasm to support and contribute to the continued success of the business.
