Treasury Solution Architect - Finance Transformation - ERP

We are seeking an experienced Treasury Solution Architect to lead the architecture and solution design of a Treasury transformation programme.

The client is currently undergoing an SAP S/4HANA implementation and is reviewing its future Treasury technology landscape. The Solution Architect will work closely with Treasury, Finance, IT and transformation stakeholders to define requirements, evaluate potential solutions/vendors and design the future Treasury architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Define the end-to-end architecture for the future Treasury technology landscape.

• Lead discovery and requirements workshops with Treasury, Finance, Accounting, IT and business stakeholders.

• Understand the existing Treasury landscape and its integration with SAP.

• Translate Treasury business requirements into functional and technical solution designs.

• Support the evaluation and selection of Treasury Management Systems and technology vendors.

• Assess potential solutions based on functionality, scalability, cost, integration capability and implementation complexity.

• Design integrations between the Treasury Management System, SAP S/4HANA, banks, payment providers, data platforms and reporting solutions.

• Define architecture principles, integration patterns, security requirements and Treasury data flows.

• Support solution design across:

  • Cash management

  • Cash positioning

  • Liquidity forecasting

  • Payments

  • Bank connectivity

  • Financial risk management

  • Treasury reporting

• Produce architecture documentation, process models, interface specifications, data models and deployment designs.

• Ensure solutions meet security, audit, regulatory and internal-control requirements.

• Lead technical discussions with Treasury technology vendors, system integrators and internal delivery teams.

• Oversee solution quality through design, build, testing, deployment and post-production support.

• Identify architectural risks, dependencies, technical debt and opportunities for automation.

Experience Required

• Strong experience as a Treasury Solution Architect, Treasury Technology Architect or Finance Solution Architect.

• Strong understanding of corporate Treasury processes and technology.

• Experience designing Treasury solutions within complex enterprise environments.

• Experience integrating Treasury platforms with SAP/S/4HANA.

• Experience evaluating and selecting Treasury technology/vendors.

• Knowledge of major Treasury platforms such as SAP Treasury, Kyriba, FIS, ION, GTreasury or similar.

• Strong understanding of bank connectivity, payments and Treasury integrations.

• Ability to work with senior Treasury, Finance, IT and business stakeholders.

• Previous experience working on major Finance, ERP or S/4HANA transformation programmes would be highly beneficial.
