Treasury Lead Analyst - 9-Month Contract (Hybrid)
Glasgow (Hybrid working)
£250/275 p/d (Inside IR35)

Join a small, dynamic International Treasury team as a Treasury Lead Analyst, supporting the Head of Treasury with key projects, automation, and management reporting. This role involves close collaboration across regions and departments to drive efficiency and deliver insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate international treasury projects, including cross-departmental calls and collaboration.
  • Support bank administration processes and system migrations in partnership with the wider Treasury team.
  • Drive automation of reporting on investments and cash balances for asset and liability management packs.
  • Prepare and coordinate reporting for Board and Asset & Liability committees on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Manage the transition of Treasury documentation to a new SharePoint platform.
  • Monitor balance sheets monthly to identify and mitigate FX risks, reducing FX impact on P&L where possible.
  • Assist CFOs and FP&A teams with FX projects and reporting.
  • Own automation projects for FX trade templates and accounting processes.
  • Support analysis of payments to inform banking partner discussions on FX pricing and charges.
  • Prepare counterparty reporting and review limits against credit policy.
  • Oversee month-end journal preparations for investments pending automation.
  • Assist with money market fund automation projects and enhancements to Treasury Workstation tools.
  • Support year-end audit requests as needed.

What We're Looking For:

  • Degree in Accountancy or related field.
  • Project management experience desirable.
  • Experience with Tableau and automation tools beneficial.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Strong stakeholder focus with proven relationship-building skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills, both written and verbal.
