Organisation

Finance with Purpose: Become our new Treasurer Trustee. Join English for All and help transform lives through language learning by helping guide our charity's growth by shaping its financial future as our new Treasurer.

Founded in 2019, English for All exists to fill the gaps in ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) provision for refugees and asylum seekers. We provide free, community-based, person-centred English classes-both in person and online-supported by educational visits, cultural activities, and user-led engagement projects.

Our open-door policy welcomes everyone, regardless of status or ability. Students describe us as a safe, nurturing space where displaced people feel supported, respected, and heard.

Using a Participatory Education Methodology-where everyone is both a teacher and a learner-we empower service users to shape the curriculum, lead projects, and mentor each other, building confidence, connection, and a sense of belonging.
