Treasurer

Tools for Self Reliance is seeking a Treasurer Trustee to be an active and engaged member of their Board and to oversee the finances of the organisation, working closely with the finance team to ensure accurate financial records, and preparing and presenting financial reports to the board.

The post holder will have an accountancy qualification or an equivalent level of experience with expertise in financial management and charity finance and we are particularly keen to receive interest from applicants with experience of international charity governance and financial management experience, preferably through a previous executive or Trustee role.

The role will support the Finance Officer and CEO in maintaining accurate financial records in Xero for both statutory reporting and the provision of financial management information and reports to the Board of Trustees. They will also oversee financial risk management and policies.
