Job Description

We are seeking an experiencedTravel Managerto lead the governance, administration, and continuous improvement of our Travel & Expense (T&E) programme. This role is critical in ensuring all business travel is managed efficiently, cost-effectively, and in full compliance with company policy, while supporting employees across multiple operational regions.

The successful candidate will act as thecentral owner of our travel platform (Perk), managing bookings, approvals, supplier relationships, reporting, and policy alignment in close collaboration with Finance and senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and manage thePerk travel platform, ensuring all travel (air, rail, hotel, car hire) is booked in line with policy
  • Maintain and continuously improve theTravel & Expense policy, driving compliance and best practice
  • Act as theprimary point of contactfor all travel-related queries, bookings, changes, and emergency travel needs
  • Deliver a robustaccommodation strategy, including hotel sourcing, rate negotiation, and preferred supplier management
  • Partner with Finance tomonitor travel spend, produce reporting, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support audits
  • Overseevirtual debit card usage, ensuring appropriate controls, monitoring, and reconciliation
  • Managesupplier relationships and corporate rewards programmesto maximise value for the business
  • Ensure effective onboarding/offboarding of travellers and accuracy of system data and approvals
Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience intravel management, T&E programmes, or a similar role
  • Strong understanding ofpolicy governance, compliance, and financial controls
  • Demonstratedcommercial acumen, with experience negotiating with hotels or travel providers
  • Excellentstakeholder management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working closely withFinance teamsor within controlled environments
  • Familiarity with travel booking platforms (e.g., Perk or similar)
  • Experience supportingaudits, reporting, or cost optimisation initiatives
