Transportation Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize and optimize transport routes and schedules according to driver availability and customer requirements.
• Ensure compliance with French transport laws and EU regulations.
• Manage vehicle maintenance and oversee safety inspections.
• Lead and coordinate the transport team, fostering a culture of safety and efficiency.
• Monitor transport costs and implement cost-saving initiatives.
• Maintain accurate transport documentation and reports.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to ensure smooth operations.

Skills&Qualifications:

• Holding a current, valid and active "Capacité de transport" certificate is mandatory for this role.
• Success in building high performing teams
• Have experience of managing large fast paced transport operations
• Relevant degree or diploma in logistics, transport management, or business administration.
• Strong knowledge of FR and EU transport regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in French and English languages.
