GXO is currently seeking a talented and driven individual for the role of Transport Team Leader, to work at our busy B&Q site in Doncaster. You will play a key role in ensuring the efficient planning and running of the transport operation.

This is a full-time, permanent position, working on an 'any 5 from 7' shift pattern. Weeks one and two will be Monday to Friday, and week three will be Sunday to Thursday, rotating every three weeks. The hours of work will be 22:00 - 06:00.

You will be paid a salary of up to £30,000 per annum, plus a night shift premium of 15%. What you'll do on a typical day:

  • Lead and work as part of a team to deliver operational performance and maintain site systems and processes.
  • Ensure the efficient planning and operation of transport activities, supporting people management and overseeing drivers, agency, and support staff.
  • Support the Transport Shift Manager to meet KPIs and targets.
  • Collaborate with the management team to optimize performance and build positive relationships with team members, peers, and 3PLs.
