Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 1:00pm - 10:00pm Own transport needed due to location What You'll Be Doing

As Evening Operations Supervisor, you'll be at the heart of the operation, ensuring deliveries are planned efficiently and customer expectations are exceeded every day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reporting directly to the Distribution Manager
• Managing daily distribution planning across three depots
• Allocating work to drivers and subcontractors while ensuring timely departures
• Reacting quickly to vehicle breakdowns and operational changes
• Negotiating competitive rates with subcontractors
• Ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety and legal regulations
• Driving KPI performance and identifying continuous improvement opportunities
• Managing operational resources to achieve financial and customer service targets
• Maintaining accurate records and completing administration within deadlines
• Building strong internal and external relationships through effective communication and leadership
• Working 5 days out of 7 with occasional 6th shift when required

You'll Need:

• Previous planning experience within logistics or transport
• Strong communication skills at all levels
• A calm and focused approach under pressure
• Excellent organisation and problem solving abilities
• Experience dealing with conflict and changing priorities
• A customer first mindset
• Confidence building relationships with subcontractors and partners
• Good PC and WMS systems knowledge
• A positive, can do attitude
