Coordinate and optimise daily transport operations across Ireland, the UK, and Europe. Allocate drivers and vehicles efficiently, manage cross-border schedules, and ensure timely deliveries. Liaise with customers, warehouse teams, and subcontractors while maintaining compliance and accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule daily transport operations, including domestic and international deliveries
• Allocate work to drivers and subcontractors, optimising fleet usage for full and part loads
• Coordinate ferry bookings and cross-border transit schedules
• Monitor vehicles, respond to delays, and resolve operational issues
• Liaise with customers, warehouse teams, and external partners
• Ensure compliance with driver hours, safety regulations, and specialised freight (ADR)
• Maintain transport records and produce reports

Qualifications

• Experience in transport planning or logistics, ideally with international operations
• Knowledge of Irish, UK, and EU transport regulations
• Awareness of ADR/specialised freight handling
• Strong organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Proficiency in transport management systems, GPS, and Excel
• Logistics, supply chain, or business qualification is a plus
