Transport Coordinator

As a Transport Coordinator you'll play a key role at the centre of our operation, where every action you take contributes to our customers enjoying their favourite products.

Shift Details

Our operation in Spalding is looking for candidates who can commit to a 4 on 4 off shift working between 18:00 - 06:00.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

• Brief and debrief drivers, being the first point of contact for all drivers and ensuring all queries are fed back to the team.
• Accountable for licence compliance and for operational excellence (cost and service), including peak planning/delivery.
• Provide the highest level of customer care and find resolutions/escalate live issues.
• Monitor all routes ensuring all routes are running on time and escalating to the Team Manager on shift where appropriate.
• Effective time management to ensure the job is completed within the set time frame provided using Kronos exceptions and schedules.
• Conduct daily administration tasks in relation to payroll systems, payroll queries, holidays etc.
• Have experience of administration in a busy transport environment, be PC literate with word and excel experience and have great attention to detail.
