The RoleAs Transport & Service Coordinator, you'll play a central role in keeping operations running efficiently - ensuring vehicles, schedules, and customer expectations are aligned.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate and schedule daily transport activities, including vehicles, drivers, and routes
- Monitor live operations and quickly resolve any issues or delays
- Act as the key point of contact for drivers, customers, and service providers
- Maintain accurate records (bookings, compliance documents, service logs)
- Ensure all operations meet UK transport regulations and internal standards
- Arrange vehicle servicing, maintenance, and external support when required
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs
- Handle operational disruptions such as breakdowns or service delays
- Produce reports on KPIs, utilisation, and performance
- Collaborate closely with internal teams including warehouse, customer service, and management

- Strong multitasking and organisational skills
- Confident communicator with a professional approach
- A proactive problem solver who can think on their feet
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- IT confident (transport systems, scheduling tools, Excel)
- Knowledge of UK transport regulations (driver hours, WTD, vehicle safety)
- Calm under pressure with a positive, "can-do" mindset
- Previous experience in transport coordination, logistics, fleet operations, or a busy administrative role
- Understanding of tachographs and UK transport legislation
- Relevant qualifications or CPC knowledge would be advantageous
- Salary: £28,000 - £30,000
- 23 days annual leave + Bank Holidays
