The Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced Transmission & Distribution Electrical Project Manager to support the delivery of major renewable energy and grid infrastructure projects.
You will oversee the day-to-day management of projects, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery from pre-construction through to completion.
Key Responsibilities- Manage project delivery within agreed cost, quality, and programme targets
- Lead and coordinate project teams, subcontractors, and external consultants
- Ensure compliance with all health & safety and regulatory standards
- Carry out regular site inspections and resolve technical issues efficiently
- Manage client expectations and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
- Provide regular reporting to senior management
- Oversee commercial performance and project P&L
- Support and develop cross-functional project teams
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline
- 3-5+ years' experience in a similar site-based project management role
- Proven experience delivering renewable energy and grid infrastructure projects including:
- Wind and solar developments
- 38kV, 110kV & 220kV substations
- BESS and grid connection projects
- Groundworks, excavations, road openings, and utility coordination
- Strong electrical engineering knowledge
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Ability to lead and mentor multidisciplinary teams
