Job Description

Guildford-based project coordinator role. Training can be provided.

Geo Language Services is a Guildford-based language services provider working with some brilliant clients across a variety of sectors from life-sciences, publishing, engineering, public sector, marketing to name but a few. We're looking for a Project Coordinator to join our team and support these projects from the ground up - a great way to put a translation degree into practice from day one.

This is a fantastic entry point into the language services industry. You'll be working alongside experienced project managers, learning how translation projects are run end-to-end. No agency experience required - just a genuine interest in languages and a willingness to learn.

Why Geo

We're proudly independent, which means every project gets treated with the care it deserves, not pushed through a box-ticking exercise. You'll get to know your clients, your linguists, and the projects you're working on - more than just a ticket number. There's real scope to grow here: as you build experience, there's a clear path toward taking on more responsibility, whether that's deeper QA work, more client-facing involvement, or progressing toward a Project Manager role. We're based in a lovely, light office near Guildford, and we're celebrating our 20th anniversary this year.

What you'll bring
  • A degree (or final-year studies) in languages, translation, or a related subject
  • A sharp eye for detail and a methodical, organised approach
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal
  • A genuine willingness to learn and go the extra mile for clients
  • Comfort with IT and a willingness to pick up new tools (CAT tool training provided)
  • No prior industry experience required - full training given

This is a full-time role, ideal for a recent translation, languages, or linguistics graduate looking to start their career in localisation.
