As a Transaction Reporting Business Analyst / Project Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting the strategic direction and development of our products and solutions for Trade and Transaction Reporting.
You will work closely with Tech, Operations, Compliance, Legal and Front Office and be responsible for managing multiple streams of work and translate regulator guidance in business and functional requirements, agree the testing approach and follow end to end delivery.
Major duties include:
- Business Analysis: conduct thorough evaluations of the regulatory guidance with the goal of understanding the impact on business and operations and to create business and functional requirements for Trade and Transaction Reporting projects.
- Project Management: coordinate with several teams to create planning artefacts and coordinate project activities. Regularly communicate project status, progress and updates to virtual team and any other stakeholders, through defined standard processes and ad hoc, as needed.
The ideal candidate should have a fair amount of the following skills and experience:
- Significant experience in project & program management and change initiatives; covering such areas as product development, regulatory change, technical transformation, and operational efficiencies.
- A proven track record of success managing programs/projects in a fast-paced environment with challenging deadlines, multiple priorities and limited resources.
- Proven experience in driving change in Capital Markets and particularly Transaction Reporting (ideally SFTR, ASIC, MiFID and EMIR) both as a project manager and a business analyst.
- Ability to translate regulatory text into implementation requirements and interface with Tech, Operations, Compliance, Legal and Front Office teams to understand the impact.
- Genuine curiosity in tracing data back to the golden source and design mapping to regulatory schema.
- Confident in managing complex transformation from requirement definition, new controls identification to testing and rollout.
- Must have strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills to manage complex projects.
- Requires excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
- Demonstrate ability to quickly establish credibility and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Highly flexible and adaptable to change.
- PMI Certifications (PMP, PRINCE2) is highly recommended, but not required.
- Agile certifications and/or experience in executing in Agile Scrum methodology a plus.
