Job Description
- Deliver and coordinate training for operational teams working across OHL projects.
- Use practical industry experience to mentor and develop Linesmen and other field personnel.
- Work closely with the Training Manager to identify training requirements across the business.
- Liaise with ESB and relevant stakeholders regarding training requirements, standards and upcoming needs.
- Coordinate training sessions, assessments and development plans for operational staff.
- Support practical training at the company's training facility in Summerhill.
- Provide guidance to employees on safe working practices and operational procedures.
- Help ensure training remains relevant to the requirements of live OHL projects.
- Maintain training records and support ongoing competency management.
- Visit project sites where required to support teams and understand development needs.

- Strong practical background within Overhead Lines (OHL) is essential.
- Previous experience as a Linesman is highly desirable.
- Previous PICW or COW experience would be a major advantage.
- Strong understanding of working practices within the Irish power/utilities sector.
- Previous formal training qualifications are not essential.
- Experience mentoring, supervising or developing other team members would be highly beneficial.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable speaking with clients, operational teams and senior management.
- Good organisational and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of training requirements.
