Job Description

An exciting opportunity for a Training Coordinator to join a leading international aviation organisation based in Shannon, Co. Clare.

Working within the Quality team, you'll coordinate employee training, competency and regulatory requirements, ensuring training records and compliance standards are maintained across the business.

Role and Job Description

  • Prepare and maintain job specific training curriculums.
  • Identify training requirements and develop training plans.
  • Track and record training progress. Continuously monitor employees who are 'in training' in collaboration with their managers or leaders.
  • Carry out training and qualification assessments for production staff.
  • Maintain training matrices.
  • Coordinate qualifications and approvals for specialized and support staff.
  • Schedule and coordinate regulatory training for all staff.
  • Coordinate and deliver internal training (as required), including induction training for new staff.
  • Schedule and coordinate testing requirements related to training.
  • Ensure training records are always maintained and up to date.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of training.
  • Ensure business compliance training is tracked and reported.
  • Coordinate the relevant competency assessments for all staff.
  • Actively participate in internal and external audits ensuring that all documentation is meticulously maintained, up to date, and readily available to auditors as required.

Person Specification

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role preferably with a regulatory environment.
  • Relevant qualification in Training and Development or a related discipline.
  • Knowledge and understanding of training coordination, learning and development processes
  • Good understanding of administrative procedures, record keeping, confidentiality, and data protection.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
