PRIMARY FUNCTION1.1 The Training Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive training programs that ensure compliance with regulatory standards, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), quality requirements, and company policies. This role supports operational excellence by equipping employees with the knowledge and skills necessary to perform safely, efficiently, and in alignment with advanced manufacturing standards.
REPORTS TO2.1 HR Business Partner
TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES3.1 Training Program Development:
Design and deliver training programs covering EHS, GMP, quality systems, technical skills, and operational procedures.
Collaborate with department leads to identify training needs and develop competency-based curriculum.
3.2 Compliance & Documentation:
Maintain accurate training records to meet regulatory and audit requirements.
3.3 Onboarding & Continuous Development:
Support onboarding programs for new hires, ensuring timely completion of mandatory training.
Implement refresher training and continuous improvement initiatives to maintain workforce competency.
3.4 Quality & GMP Integration:
Embed GMP principles into all training materials and sessions.
3.5 Performance Monitoring:
Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
Recommend improvements based on data analysis and regulatory changes.
3.6 External Training Coordination:
Liaise with external providers for specialised certifications and technical courses.
Manage scheduling and logistics for off-site training as required.
3.7 Budget Management:
Track training costs and ensure cost effective delivery within budget.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
5.1 Experience in training coordination, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
5.2 Knowledge of health & safety regulations and compliance standards.
5.3 Strong organisational and communication skills.
5.4 Proficiency in MS Office and LMS platforms.
5.5 Ability to design engaging training content (PowerPoint, video, simulations).
5.6 CIPD qualification or equivalent (desirable).
