Training Coordinator - Manufacturing

A growing, family owned manufacturing business in Pickering is looking to appoint a Training Coordinator to take ownership of onboarding, training and early stage employee development across the site. Based in Pickering, the role offers Monday to Thursday 8:00am-4:30pm, with an early finish at 1:30pm on Fridays, and a salary of up to £40,000.

This is a key role focused on improving retention, consistency and the overall employee experience. You will have the opportunity to bring structure to training, enhance onboarding and make a visible impact from day one.

The Role

Working closely with managers and team leaders, you will take responsibility for how new starters are introduced, supported and developed across the business.

  • Design and deliver structured induction programmes
  • Improve the onboarding experience, ensuring employees are set up for success
  • Identify skills gaps and support the development of targeted training plans
  • Coordinate and deliver training activity across teams
  • Support managers with coaching and team development
  • Introduce and maintain a more structured approach to L&D
  • Track progress, gather feedback and drive continuous improvement
About You

This role would suit someone from a hands on HR admin, training or coordination background who enjoys working closely with people in a fast paced, operational environment.

  • Experience supporting or delivering inductions and onboarding
  • Background within HR admin, training or coordination roles
  • Exposure to training, skills development or employee engagement
  • Confident and approachable, able to engage a diverse workforce
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proactive, with the confidence to support and influence managers
