Trainer - Engineering

Blackpool and The Fylde College (B&FC) is currently seeking a dedicated and innovative Trainer - Engineering to join our Lancashire Energy HQ (LEHQ). This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality training, inspire the next generation of engineers, and support learners on their journey to success.

As a Trainer in Engineering, you will play a key role in ensuring students and apprentices achieve their potential. Duties include:

• Delivering engaging and effective practical and theoretical training across apprenticeship and FE pathways.
• Designing and assessing high-quality training and learning materials, including online resources.
• Conducting progress reviews with students and employers, supporting achievement, progression, and timely outcomes.
• Providing constructive feedback, monitoring learner performance, and taking action to secure continuous improvement.
• Supporting recruitment activities such as interviews and open events.
• Promoting safe working practices and maintaining up-to-date professional knowledge.

We value strong communication, organisational, and people skills, which you may have developed in a learner-facing role such as assessing, teaching, mentoring, support, administration, or library/resource services.
