About the Role

As a Trainee Project Engineer , you'll support senior engineers in delivering complex installation projects from start to finish. This role also includes site visits across the UK and overseas , giving you valuable real-world project exposure.

Your responsibilities will grow as your skills develop, starting with:

• Assisting with project planning & scheduling (Gantt charts, documentation, drawings).
• Supporting equipment specification, sourcing, and installation plans .
• Helping with logistics, shipping, and export documentation .
• Preparing Risk Assessments & Method Statements (RAMS) .
• Assisting with training materials and customer handovers .
• Gaining early exposure to budget monitoring and project cost awareness .

What We're Looking For

We're not expecting you to have all the answers - just the right attitude and enthusiasm to learn!

• A keen interest in engineering and project delivery.
• Strong communication & teamwork skills .
• A proactive, hands-on approach and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Basic knowledge of mechanical or electrical engineering is a plus.
• Willingness to travel (UK & overseas).
• Full UK driving licence (or willingness to work towards one).
