Infinityblu Dental Care is delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Dental Practice Manager to join our growing team. Based in our Galashiels practice, this role is ideal for an experienced dental professional ready to take the next step into leadership and management.

You will begin your role as Trainee Practice Manager in our Galashiels practice, where you will receive full support and mentorship from our experienced Scottish Borders Practice Managers and Regional Operations Manager. As part of our growing group, there may be opportunities in the future to support or work across other Infinityblu practices, giving you broader experience and helping you develop your career further.
The Role
As Trainee Practice Manager, you will lead and inspire your team to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the practice. You will help create and maintain a professional, friendly and customer-focused culture, delivering a high-quality dental service that continues to improve and grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the team in the day-to-day running and management of the practice
- Drive practice performance against objectives, including high quality patient care, financial targets and key performance indicators, and effective cost management
- Build and promote the practice vision and brand message
- Attend regular management meetings with other Infinityblu Practice Managers
- Contribute ideas and implement plans to meet business targets
- Manage recruitment and identify staffing needs
- Hold regular team meetings and conduct staff performance reviews
- Provide training and support to improve staff skills, knowledge and performance
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety requirements
- Process NHS and monthly schedule reports
- Maintain strong Clinical Governance and Combined Practice Inspection standards
About You
This role would suit someone who has exceptional leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others. You will be an excellent listener, empathetic to both team and patient needs, and committed to delivering exceptional customer service.
You will also demonstrate strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills, effective time management, and the ability to thrive in a busy, multitasking environment. You should be adaptable to changing business needs.
Experience or knowledge of NHS and private dentistry and SOE Exact is preferred but not essential.
