Responsibilities

• Preparing metal components through cleaning, degreasing and masking
• Operating electroplating tanks and monitoring key process controls
• Inspecting parts and checking plating thickness to quality standards
• Maintaining plating equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
• Recording accurate process information and completing documentation

Experience

• Previous experience in electroplating, ideally with cadmium or zinc nickel (advantageous but not essential)
• A methodical approach with strong attention to detail
• Confidence using tools and workshop equipment
• Understanding of surface preparation or plating processes (advantageous)
• A willingness to learn and develop new technical skills
