Trainee Lifeguard

Position

Trainee Lifeguard - Full-Time/Part-Time/Seasonal.

Pay: £12.71 per hour. Onsite accommodation available subject to availability and T&Cs.

Overview

Join our One Great Team at Haven and help create a safe and fun filled swimming experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Learn and apply lifeguard procedures, including pool safety and first aid.
• Monitor swimmers, respond quickly to incidents, and maintain a safe, enjoyable environment.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist guests with inquiries and concerns.

Requirements

• Previous lifeguard experience valued but not essential; training will be provided.
• Willingly learn, stay alert, and respond confidently in any situation.
• Friendly, approachable, with good communication skills.
• Availability for flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Proficiency in swimming - meet swim test: 50m in under 60s, 100m continuously front and back in deep water, tread water 30s, surface dive to floor, climb out unaided where pool design permits.
• Undergo and satisfactorily complete an Enhanced DBS check prior to starting work.
